Flexible Shapes for OCI Compute with Terraform
In this lesson, I am showcasing a brand new feature called Flexible Shapes for compute instances. It means you can deploy VM with a minimum number of needed OCPUs and memory. Then gradually you can add more CPU power or/and memory without machine redeployment. It is similar to dynamic shape change, but in fact, we have still the same shape used. Moreover, you can reduce the number of CPU power and same time enlarge memory or the opposite. That is a new level of flexibility.
Here is GitHub repo for this lesson.
